Christmas Creations

I am now officially addicted to Pinterest. Here are a few of my re-creations and some ideas that it inspired.

Sorry Kiersten if you look at this before your package arrives! I made this for my bff. She loves sock monkey's so I thought this would be fun and cute for her little guy. Used the Cricut Word Collage for the alphabet, on black vinyl. I used primary color buttons from Joann's. Sock Monkey paper attached to a 12 x 12 canvas from Hobby Lobby. I used thick red and white polk-a-dot ribbon to hang (not pictured).
I made this for my friend who LOVES! to travel. I used the Cricut Word Collage on black vinyl. Two sheets of random paper I had to create sort of a beach serene background. I used some ribbon to hide where the paper met. Attached the paper to a 6 x 16 canvas from Hobby Lobby. I attached a thick piece of brown ribbon for hanging (not pictured).
My sister asked that I make something for our dad for Christmas. This is what we decided on. Each frame was bought in a package at Joann's. I used fish themed paper and then some pebbles to tie them together in the middle. I used some green ribbon to attach all the frames together then thick brown ribbon to hang.
Sorry for this sad picture. I used the Cricut Word Collage on black vinyl and blue? LED battery lights. The vision in my head was that the lights would 'glow' through the words. The LED lights are sort of 'weird' so it didn't look like I thought. My co-worker loved it though. I told her she could put a candle in there and it might look a little better, and she could use the lights for something else :)
This is my Pinterest recreation. I had all those Starbucks jars left over from little K's party and I didn't have the heart to through them out. I put sort of an off-white paint (all I had in the garage) and swirled it around in the jars. What an experience WITHOUT a funnel. I have since bought a funnel from the dollar store. :) I used Cricut Plantin cart for the individual letters and Cricut Stretch Your Imagination for the snowflake. I twisted some sheer gold ribbon and solid red ribbon (from Joann's) around the top to hide what happens when you don't have a funnel to pour the paint, ha, and then added some Christmas picks from Hobby Lobby.
Lastly, another idea from Pinterest. :) These frames are MUCH larger than the original idea and these are just blank frames, $1 at Micheals, with no glass front. I used the Cricut Plantin cart for the individual letters on black vinyl. I used the scrap paper to cut out a little something to add to each frame. The top is a dove (for peace) cut from the Cricut Beyond Birthday's Cart; the middle is a tree cut from the Cricut Stretch Your Imagination cart; and the last one is a heart cut from the Blackout Shadow feature on the Cricut Beyond Birthday's cart. It is all attached with red ribbon, from Joann's.

Milk and Cookies Birthday Party

Milk and Cookies birthday bar party for my daughter's first birthday. I also used the Cricut Tie the Knot for most of her banner (really dark in the pictures.)

For the party gifts, I had each guest take a bag full of cookies! :)
Little labels for each item. There were seven different types of cookies. My rice krispies essentially turned into balls. :)
I wanted purple plates, but Walmart only had lime green. So I opted for lime green and white. I alternated them on the table with lime green napkins. I filled the milk bottle by the plates with chocolate chip teddy grahams...a fun childhood snack :)
Different milk choices...strawberry, chocolate, white, mocha frappe and vanilla frappe. The flowers are from my flower garden. Absolutely beautiful!
Homemade invite of course! Milk jug is from Cricut JB Cards Cart. I used a circle punch for the cookies and a heart punch for the chips. I cut the heart in half. We had a blast! I love cookies. I did make my daughter a little smash cake, which she 'smashed' it with grace.

Winter Craft Fair

Inside, 'to wish you a Happy Birthday.'

 My table
You're espresso-ly wonderful! I used the Cricut Just BC Cards cart for the coffee pot and an embossing 'snow' pen for steam coming off the coffee pot...hard to see in the picture. I also used the E-Z sew for two stitches up the side of the coffee pot.

The thinking of you card had some embossing on the side rt flap of the card. Used the texture boutique for that. For the sunflower card, I used the Cricut Just BC Cart for the sunflowers and swirly frame.
I used the Cricut Just BC cards cart for the rocket and Tie the Knot Cart for the letters.
This is a custom order card. It was for a halloween birthday. The inside later said 'wishing you a spooktacular birthday.'

Larger Christmas Cards

These are the larger Christmas Card templates I made. The above one is the card my work selected for me to make this year. There is a little dab of red glitter glue in the ornament. All are blank inside as they were templates designed for business' and they usually have their own verbaige.

Howdy

Just a girly cowgirl card. It was random. I used the 'Just BC' Cricut Cart for this card.

Masculine Birthday Cards

Inside reads, 'a happy birthday.'  I used glossy accents on the fish with this card, so the fish stand out a little more. It was hard to capture with a picture.

Christmas Again

Hard to tell in this picture, but the little bubbly snowflakes have a touch of glossy accent to make them pop a little more. I created the snowflake paper with a stamp. Inside reads, 'wishing you toasty toes and a warm nose.'
Snowflakes have the glossy accents. Blank inside.
Ornaments have glossy accents. In a different version of this card, I colored in the ornaments with color pencils and then did the glossy accents and it turned out a lot better!

Some more cards. This is my Religious Card Set. The card with Jesus in the manger had the verse, 'For unto is born this day.... ' on the inside. The angel card has the verse on the outside, 'glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace and good will to men.' The other two cards are blank inside. The back one with a curly tree reads 'Merry Christmas' across the bottom.

Friends

Another Birthday, As one of your loyal supporters, I just wanted to say... (inside) You are holding up in great shape!. Use the Cricut for the Corset, My Mind's Eye for the dot paper, EZ Sew stictching on the side. The ribbon is really dark blue and dark blue sheer though it looks black in the picture.
This is a better picture of the ribbon. I used this same ribbon above. Corset is from Cricut Cart. (Inside) reads, Of Corset's Your Birthday.
