Just Cards

Hello 2016...in May...the end of May to be exact. I might as well dive right in where I left. This post will be just cards. I will search for more things since my last post to creative other posts. I do aspire to be a good blogger one day! 

 Let's get started. The above cards. Paper from Hobby Lobby, on sale of course :) Banner Cut out from the Phrases Cricut Cartridge. Gray and white baking twine also from Hobby Lobby; and also on sale! Hard to see in this picture but the banner pieces are on with pop-up dots. The sentiment stamp is from Hobby Lobby. 

 The above two pictures. Paper from a pattern pack at Joann Fabric a LONG time ago. The balloon card has a Happy Birthday texture boutique pattern. The balloons are cut out from Cricut Stretch Your Imagination. The baby onesies are from Cricut Everyday Pop-Up Cards. There is jute on both cards...for the string on the balloons and the top of the onesies. The sentiment is a stamp I got in a clearance bin at Craft Warehouse. 

See, I do shop around at other places. :) 

 This card didn't turn out quite like I hoped. I will be playing around more with the airplane soon. That is cut from the Cricut Everyday Pop-Up Card. I used map paper from Hobby Lobby and print out a sentiment on Microsoft Word using the Bradley Hand ITC font (my favorite!). 

This paper is from Hobby Lobby...is there any where else to get paper. :) I used a white gel pen to dot the brown paper on the corners for more dimension. The frilly cutout the sentiment (stamp) is on is from Cricut Phrases. The stamp again is from Hobby Lobby. 

 I really enjoy making the beer card. I am learning how to take better pictures of the cards, so bare with me on these older pictures. 

The light yellow (ish) color on the beer mug has a glossy accent on it to make it look like glass. I used liquid applique that makes the edges 'frothy.' The sentiment is printed off from Microsoft Word using Mistral font. I thought that looked more "masculine." The ice cream cone card is printed from Cricut Stretch Your Imagination. I used the same foam pen around the edges of the ice cream and also used a sparkly glitter glue, in red, for the cherry. There is gray/white baker twine down the middle of the card.

 This is my fun new cartridge! The fly is from Cricut Creative Holiday Cards. I forget I have this new fun cartridge. Look for more cards to have some of these features. The stamp is wet embossed with white. The paper is from Hobby Lobby.  There is that stamp again. :) 

 Also another new cartridge, Cricut Doodlecharms. 

Don't you LOVE these little cones.

 I used some dark distress ink (also my favorite. I use it on almost everything) on the cones and the ice cream. The cherry's on top have the sparkly glitter glue to add texture and depth and cuteness (a real word?). The pattern paper is from a retired paper pack from Creative Memories. 

 This anchor is actually from the Cricut Mickey Mouse Cartridge. :) I forget it is on there. I like the big silver brad on there with some jute to give it a finished look. I used a white gel pen to dot the sides of the anchor. The blue stripe paper is from a paper pack I got at Joann's. The little tiny stamp is a Stampin' Up stamp (same as the ice cream cone card above). 

 Above. The stripe paper is from a paper pack. The arrows are one cut (Cricut Creative Holiday Cards) and I have them up with pop-up dots. I use the Paper Studio ones from Hobby Lobby because they come in two different sizes. I can cut the big ones in to different shapes if needed. Sentiment stamp is from Hobby Lobby. 

 I really like this truck template. I have used it a lot. It is from Cricut Just Because Cards. I just cut out some candles with scrap paper. They should maybe be a little shorter, but this is what I went with. The trees are from Cricut Winter Woodland. I also used my paper cutter from Creative Memories to cut the grass wave. The sentiment is printed out from Microsoft Word. Bradley Hand font of course.

 Above and below are a set of cards that I put together for a company. The top left chandelier is from Cricut Everyday Pop-Up Cards. I struggle with this cut because it is really intricate and seems to tear no matter what setting/paper I use. There are yellow rhinestones on the chandelier to take the place of the 'light.' Paper is from Hobby Lobby...yes, back to them :) 

The top middle card has paper from Creative Memories. I am sad to say they are no longer in business. I used to love their product. I actually got started in scrapbooking/paper crafting using Creative Memories. I tried to be a consultant myself, but I am not a naturally pushy person so that didn't pan out as I would have liked. Any who, back to the card. The butterfly is from Cricut Tie The Knot. The stamp is from Hobby Lobby and there are rhinestones from the sentiment to the bottom of the butterfly. 

The last top card has a tag cut from Cricut Phrases. The paper is from Hobby Lobby. It has a happy birthday texture boutique imprint on white. There are rhinestones in some of the imprints. The stamp again is from Hobby Lobby. 

The bottom cards.

The paper is from Creative Memories. The sentiment is cut out from Cricut Calligraphy Cartridge.

 The middle card is also just paper from Creative Memories with a stamped sentiment (Hobby Lobby) in the middle. 

The bottom right card has butterflies cut out from Cricut ...and clear stamp accents to make a "trail" behind the butterflies. I also used a border punch to create the side piece. I love and hate it at the same time. It makes beautiful cutouts but it near impossible to pastes down. 

 Above. This little trike is so cute. I am learning how to make it much cuter! The cutout is from Cricut Stretch Your Imagination. The balloons from there as well. Paper all Hobby Lobby and Joann's Paper Packs. The grass is cut out from Cricut Sports Mania. 

Top right. The really pretty flower paper is from Hobby Lobby. This is one of my favorite prints. The tag is from Cricut Phrases. I have some small pearls on the bottom of the tag. The loop-de-loop on the bottom is from a page punch. I like that it is more adhesive friendly than the previous punch I mentioned. Stamp of course, Hobby Lobby.

The tag is from Cricut Mickey and Friends. I used more rhinestones. Also one of my favorites. The paper is from a paper pack from Costco. 

Hold the phone.

 Costco?!?! 

Yes. My sweet, sweet hubby bought it for me several years (past four years) ago and I STILL have not used it all; or even half. 

The top left has a banner cut using Cricut Phrases. I also used Cricut Calligraphy to cut out happy. Birthday sentiment is cut from the Calligraphy as well. The paper is all from Hobby Lobby. 

 Wahoo, something different right?!?! 

The sentiment is from Cricut Nursery Rhymes cartridge. The tag is cut from Cricut Phrases. 

 Here is the sentiment again. 

This time I paired it with a cute water can from Cricut Stretch Your Imagination. 

Would you believe that isn't even my favorite cartridge? Gasp! 

The pattern paper is from Hobby Lobby. On the top of the water can there is clear sparkly glitter glue to make the yellow shine.

 Here is the sentiment again two other ways. Top card has paper from Hobby Lobby. Bottom paper is from Creative Memories...a hand me down box nonetheless. 

I added an embossed flower to give the bottom one texture. No pun intended. They also have rhinestones in the middle of the flower. 

 Awh. 

A masculine thank you card in the middle of all the girly stuff. 

I really enjoy this little grill. I cut it out using Cricut From My Kitchen Cartridge. I also cut the "tag" out from there as well. It is supposed to be a cutting board. :) Some imagination required! I like the foam off the steak to make it look like it is smoking and getting ready.

Ok! Last card. Not my best, but I put it on anyway. The tower is from Cricut Everyday Pop-Up cards, as well as the sentiment. I used black rhinestones for embellishments, both large and small. Here is a bigger picture of the page lace punch. I wish it was a little bigger so the mini glue dots would fit, but they don't.
